For support on your journey, Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists can help you explore which services may work best for you.
Quitting tobacco improves your health and reduces your risk of heart disease, cancer, lung disease, and many other illnesses. Whether you smoke cigarettes, cigars, pipes, use chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes or vapes, there are many resources out there to help you quit. The SLO County Tobacco Control Program provides classes, and you can learn about other virtual programs by calling:

VIRTUAL QUITTING CLASS *
A trained Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist from the County Public Health Department's Tobacco Control Program, facilitates these 10-week group classes. Each session is approximately one hour in length. Throughout the series, you will learn about tools and strategies to help you break the habit of smoking and quit vaping.
Class participants are asked to attend each week prepared to participate in discussions, support fellow group members, and have an open mind to trying something new.
